| Comment | My favorite .308 Winchester load. As a general rule, VLD bullets are very accurate at muzzle velocities of 2600-2750 fps. I prefer heavy Berger VLD bullets for long range hunting. This is a superb long range match or hunting load out to 800 yards. The Sierra 175 gr HPBT Matchking and Hornady 178 gr A-Max work well also with this data. |
