The .376 Steyr (9.55x60) was officially introduced under the 1999 SHOT show. Its based upon a 9.3x64 Brenneke case, shortened 4 mm, making it midway in physical size between the .350 Remington Mag and the .375 H&H; The cartridge has become quit popular in Africa for thin skinned game and should also be adequate for any North American game.
