The 585 Gehringer is a rimless rebated 585 calibre smokeless cartridge similar to the long 3" version of the 585 Nyati. It was designed by the Australian Karl Gehringer. Although it has a different shoulder, load data should be interchangeable. The round was developed for a CZ550 rifle with 25" Tobler barrel, 1:22 twist. Brass is made from Bertram basic Nyati, trimmed to 3.06" and rims rebated to 416 rigby dia.
