If you're looking for a solid performer for a 180 gr. Accubond in the 300 WSM, look no further. I actually tried 6 different powders and 5 differend 180 gr. bullets before I was able to locate some VVN 560. This is an outstanding powder for the 300 WSM. Rifle is built on a Montana Rifle Company (MRC) M1999 action. Barrel is 27" in length, #5+ (magnum) sporter profile, fluted SS cut rifled bbl by Mark Chanlynn of Rocky Mountain Rifle in Lyons, CO. Twist is 1:11. Shot 1 Elk, 2 Ant. thus far. |
