Do not start with this amount of powder. When I first bought this caliber there was virtually no reloading info out there. I worked with the 300 wsm and 308 data. This is the most powerful load I have worked up. Start around 62 grains that should be around 2600 fps which is good enough for most. My rifle is 1:10 twist and it is recommended 1:11 for this bullet wieight. I can not complain with 5 shots under a bottle cap @ 100 yards.You will not find anything close to this load in any manual. |
