The 303 savage with its heavier jacketed, heavier weight bullets at higher RPM's was the go to caliber for large northern bucks from MN to NY and was very dependable even on moose and bear with its' Bad through the bone ability. instead of the 30-30's and 32 SPC.'s only bad to the bone reputation. I have personally seen a large northern bucks backbone stop 30-30 bullets at 125yds. where the 303 Savage would have ripped the bucks entire spine out and kept right on going/Gunwriters can't sell that |
